Motivating Employees – Keep ‘em on Your Side of the Fence

Twice a day I take the fork and throw each of my quarter horses a haystack. For me, it’s how it looks to keep well fed. But between feedings, I often find they have reached their neck on the rails of the fence to graze on the lawn just outside the corral. Apparently they are hungry for more and you’re looking for somewhere near its low to satisfy their hunger. As a manager, I’m sure you do your best to feed “your staff with support and encouragement they need to perform their tasks. But it is enough to keep them out of sight on the fences of your workplace more? One of the things that people should have a good idea and the work they do, the opportunity to grow and are now more than they have. They want to know more about their industry, their specific mission and the means to do better. Employees also want the opportunity to work as an organization. As a manager, there are certain things you can do to encourage your employees’ natural desire for growth. You continuous professional development opportunities by signing up for classes or workshops and sends them to industry conferences. Encourage them to work on the certification of advanced skills and improvements. provides employees with books, CDs, DVDs, periodicals and magazines together to improve specific skills they want. team of “greening” of workers with more experience, those who mentor and show them the ropes of a new area. Helping employees acquire leadership qualities, giving them the direction of a committee Gib. these new tasks, which makes him responsible for a special project. Cross train them to support or back up other departments. It may look like for you to offer your employees a lot to keep them well fed, but just to be sure, it’s a good idea to ask your employee during interviews, what training or additional skills they would like to learn to develop. Employees and further in advance, the more value they feel as individuals, and they are most valuable to you and your organization. If your employees with experience who want to increase their offer, they are not for us to be with companies on the other side of the fence!
