Customer Service – The President Murdered Grandma

It has been said that President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s speech was a typical little flattery and he was tired at the meeting with guests at various receptions to worship at the White House. FDR was certain that the guests do not really listen to what he had to say to a particular incident, President Roosevelt decided that it would be exactly the same comment to all customers to see if we could hear the facts . When guests came and shook hands with the president, he smiled politely and said jovially, “I murdered my grandmother this morning.” As Roosevelt expected guests flowed easily and the President paid a compliment and move along. It is easy to think that President Roosevelt to exchange both fun and finally found a little sad. As the last guests were from a foreign diplomat, Roosevelt pressed his hand and heard the president say: “I murdered my grandmother this morning.” The diplomat paused a moment and replied: “I’m sure they did come to her.” Like the President, the customers are used to the feeling that their concerns are not really the concern of the company had purchased. Imagine a customer to think it was possible to send an e-mail to customer service of your company and say something similar to the welcome by President Roosevelt. How many of these people would receive an e-mail autoresponders that they never really allowed to believe that a real person who actually checks their e-mails? Autoresponders are a great first line of defense, e-mails coming into your business, should be discussed by your staff and your answers. Follow is to do something for the company’s most difficult, but for some customers in your response or lack thereof is a litmus test to determine if your business is worthy of his patronage in the long term. We need not look far to find poor service, but most customers are willing to listen to the reward of extra business. In a small lawn and garden based in Nebraska, Lloyd has been awarded every year with regular customers because it takes time to listen. Lloyd customers can use all lawn and garden theme (and sometimes they are like life to be discussed), and he will listen approach. Even if it does not compete with box stores, Lloyd sets have strong customer relationships, because it is only dollar signs for our clients as neighbors and less. Customer Service, one of the best ways to foster customer loyalty, but a sympathetic ear and through the monitoring are essential – even on the Internet.
